long shot asking this here
« on: October 13, 2009, 06:43:02 pm »
i am looking for one of thos eburners for getting rid of weeds. It's a metal pole which burns gas at high temps for removal of weeds in gardens. I have seen some shoddy ones but looking for something semi decent and also some strong weed killer but not at b&q prices :o

i'm fed up using a hoe to remove them and also crap weed killer from B&Q which cost a few quid for some little packets. There has gotta be some high strength stuff out there. i will be burning and killing weeds for fun now

I use this mate, you should be able to get it from most nurseries.

Just be bloody careful as you don't want to spray this anywhere near flowers and plants that you want to keep.
nothing will grow in the sprayed area for 6-10 months.

They might do, it costs around the £12-£15 mark. lasts ages though.

Sodium chlorate is salt with one more oxygen molecule we used it under brick paving and drive ways to spot weed growth.Save money and dont make big companies rich.
