« on: October 10, 2009, 07:13:49 pm »
Is it just window cleaners who gets an extremely large amount of customers offering Tea and Coffee? lol
My mates that are in the building trade told me they are never offered Tea and Coffee as much as we are.
Whats the highest amount of offers you have had in 1 day?

most in 1 day was 5..

i always have a drink if asked but not always a hot one.

If you start turning them down, they tend not to keep offering, so i have it anyway even if i take a few sips and then water the plants with it.

Quite often get offered, but depends how long it was since my last one,
otherwise I'd end up with a bladder like a zeppilin (spelling?).

Mostly I just tell them I'll bank it for next time, most of them do remember (if they're in).

Never touch any tea and coffee from customers unless I've seen the state of their house first. Some of my customers are animals.  :-X

I get offered a drink a couple of times a week...but I only ever accept from 1 particular customer 'the smoking woman' as we call her...lives on a council type estate, very blunt woman...from day one she refuse to talk English to me which I liked and our first conversations were very difficult but she does speak and understand English very well as do most Dutch but by refusing to speak to me in English I found this refreshing and always accept her offers of coffee.

But in general I do politely refuse.

Cheers
Dave.
