diy system

hi mates
just a question will 2 beer barrels 1 surflo pump 1 car battery 1filter 1 pole  system be sufficient for a diy system i think that should do it just clarification needed

you will also need a set of pre filters, RO membranes and DI vessel. thats just to make the water.

you should get a control flow as well if im being honest.

got all the stuff is the merlin system any good will get a control flow dow want too spend to much cash just bin out for a pint or 2

took a reading of 300 used some purlite in a barrel got it down to 128 not good mate do i need more resin filtered it through some garden fleece me missus had got the bits out we live in a very hard water area anwhere you know there is a soft water area

you would be better off buying a small RO unit, if using resin, you need to run the water though the resin, not just put it in the barrel

have a look on the DIY site, it explains it in fairly simple terms

the water is filtered through resin into barrels that should be ok just gettin the water through the pole what about the stream box i was thinking what uy think
