does anyone use these? How good are they? How do you dry the windows? .and which would you recommmend?

I use them. Up to 10ft they're ok and I can get a good result. I've a monster that goes up to 24ft and it's a heavy bugger to use and I only use it for a few jobs where the windows would be otherwise inaccessable. On these few jobs the windows come up anything but great but it's better than nothing.

You don't dry the windows as such. The method I use is:

Wet scrim on T Bar to get 90% of dirt off
Damp scrim on T Bar to get off another 2-3% of dirt
Dry scrim to polish

As I say it's not ideal

iv a 2 foot ettore ,a 9 foot Quickie ,a pulex 6metre . the pulex is crap and too heavy. i use the Quickie a lot .  i use a 9metre fishing pole for higher work , thats one of my better buys

It sort of works on new leaded windows but it ain't great (wfp is far superior on leaded glass). No I don't find the cloth grips the glass too much.

Old leaded glass with the small diamond panes at all angles...forget it!

As I said it's only a method I use on windows that would otherwise be left totally uncleaned.

Thanks. I found I couldn't get the cloth to move smoothly across the glass unless I moved in one direction only (usually downwards).
