Yep I'll post some pics when its done, should have it back by the afternoon, just hope it pays off my main concerns about it has been getting enquiries in areas I don't want, at the moment I tend to choose my customers which means my round so far is quality work but its taking ages to build, I should canvass more but like a few others have said its hard to go out again after a days work.

I am going to implement a minimum charge for my round in Essex.
I am moving down there in 2 weeks, I am also having 25-30,000 leaflets distributed in a couple of weeks time.
I thought with the minimum charge that will deter the time wasters and people in the areas I don't want lol

Trouble is I have some small jobs on good estates that are £10 minimum charge for 6 windows, however I would need to set a minimum of £15 to deter work I may not want, I'm thinking of setting a £15 minimum charge in new areas.

Yes!!

And well done for the big Yellow Pages sticker.  People don't remember phone numbers, but they do notice you'r in YP and look you up later!!

Yp will do you a deal and put your logo in your ad, makes you even more recognisable.
Ian , Without beinbg disrepectful. Yellow pages is going t++s up people (most people) dont use it that I know, the book one is a night mare to find anything and when you get there it tells you to turn to page 90000000057.

in 2009 I would be advertising my website alot quicker than trying to remebering it was in yellow pages then look him up them see he has a web site ( do you see my point)

a website (memerable)  a phone number works

SIMPLES X

as it should be.

people sometimes cant remeber numbers they can remember a website if it is memerable!

old people will use yell so it depends on your target market, and Ian I am not having a dig at you in any way.

I do need to have a chat with you some time if that is ok ?

I will definately use Tristan again for my future vans.
I think advertising as many forms of contact on your van would make a big difference.

Van looks ok but that's one dodgy ladder! square rungs & black feet? it's a homebase effort! Treat yourself to a LYTE mb. I wouldn't want to clean gutters from that thing mate. ;)

Mac yes I have over 20 customers already down there. I'm also getting one offs on the plastics cleans etc.
When am I having the leaflets delivered? as soon as possible lol, well I am hoping that we get the leaflets from the printers this week so we can book them in with the distributor.
If we can book them in this week, then they will be delivered in 2 weeks time.
