I hate the way customers ask 'how much will it be?' when you cant see the house and for all you know they could say 12 windows and that could just be a flipping conservatory

i just hate when they stop you when u r working i live up road its only a small semi wat do you charge when you get there its got 20 windows just  say 40 quid mate

Ive a bungalow with 19 windows although some are small and cant be classed as such and its £12 people seem to forget when you are taking time to do the frames and doors etc it needs to be charged more.  I have learnt that early, some of my early jobs i priced too little will eventually be creamed off possibly

I hate it when they ask how much without you seeing the place. But if I had my carpets cleaned then I would like to know how much it would generaly cost.

I always carry clippers with me so I can hack a way to the windows.  Ivy, pyracanthus, climbing roses, wisteria...when I've got my clippers out I'm like Alan Titchmarsh. Mind you I insist the customer clears up the cuttings.

If I've the time I'm happy to snip snip snip away. If it's a few bits of ivy trailing down I don't charge as it takes seconds and shows a bit of goodwill. If it's a jungle then of course my gardening skills have to be charged for....Oh the healthy plants I've butchered over the years

you get one every now and then how much for an average 3 bed house i just say there is no such thing price on visit only
