Baffled
« on: May 25, 2005, 09:01:35 pm »
I'm baffled  :)  .
What does baffled mean in regard to a WFP tank?
It might sound a silly question but I believe that only silly question is the one that isn't asked.

The baffles are internal sections/walls that stop the water having that wave motion when on the move etc,

Cuz if you didn't have them, if you hit something when driving and came to a sharp stop then the water (500 litres weighs half a ton) could burst through the side of the tank or rip it from its mountings and crush you.
It's a game of three halves!

I imagine there could be problems too with cornering.  Thanks for the info.
