[GB Window Cleaning]

hello fellow window cleaners.
                                               I am just starting out and i am using trad methods and was wondering if anyone can clean frames and sills with a trad pole? i was thinking of maybe using a fixiclamp with a sponge/scrim or using a w.f.p sill brush on a trad pole!
                                                             
Aslo can you remove paint and other nasty hard to remove stuff from glass, frames and sills with a trad pole?

Hi and welcome(although maybe not my place to welcome you as I just through the door myself  )

I'm sure you could clean most things with a trad pole, it just takes practice to get good at doing so. As for getting paint and such like off you can fit an Unger scraper onto a pole and scrape.

If I was doing frames there is no way I would use a trad pole upstairs - it'll take ages. Think about what you'd actually have to do.

make sure you wet the window, other wise it will be very expensive

Not good TBH - if you use a wfp brush that is wet but not flowing with water it will literally mix the water with the dirt and re-arrange it. It will look pants.

Why not go wfp trolley/backpack out of your car if cost is an issue?

i dont see the difference between being on ladders wiping frames with wet cloth to doing it with wet w.f.p brush on trad pole, as long as you wash the brush periodically!?!?

im a 31 year old man mate so please dont talk to me like that old man! second i use trad and ladders like my dad did for 25 years! so if you havnt got any good input then dont answer my questions please!

Thats not nice is it.
If you're ladders and trad, why are you wanting to clean upper floor windows with a trad pole?

I have tried a pole but you cannot see if its clean so I get up the ladder and clean with a dry brush first then a wet cloth.I even brush glass and frames with a handled floor brush and then clean with a squeege if they are very durty, save my microfibre clothes.
