Filling your tank from storage

Wondered how you guys connect up the hose from a sub pump from water storage tanks up to your tank in the van ?
Im running a sub pump up to my tank held with tape at the tank end. I have to keep a close eye on it incase the tape was to come off.
What connectors do you guys use ?

I use a sub pump in my storage tank conected with a jubile clip to around 15m of 1 and a 1/4 inch pond hose conected to a huge tap by a jubile clip.
It works well. I couldnt live without my tap on the end. It also weights the end down so it stays in the tank when filling.
