does anyone do this? - and i mean prevention i.e. spikes, etc. Not culling
What is involved and how do I learn more about what needs to be done?

Hi
No worries, look around the kill germ site, there are things like metallic tape which reflects and rattles therefore putting the bird off nesting and a large reflective ball with an owl's face on it.
You shouldn't need any training to install, or you can order a catalouge from them.
I got my mini fogger from them, good fast service.

Martin

I havent had any jobs in yet, or even been asked about it, but it seems like easy enough work really. I hold an IPAF certificate so I guess thats all I need.
The courses are a bit far from me - I'll keep an eye on the site incase they have any closer in the future.
I would have no idea how to price these jobs mind. would you charge by square metre?

Richy,it really boils down to common sense, those bird spikes are so easy to fit/install just depends on what your attaching it to,weather you need to nail, screw,or gripfil em on,its really easy,oh forgot the spikes are no good for the eaves best to use netting
As for priceing the job just go for time and materials.
hope that helps
