Ditto,.. but the guy I was working with fell twice and was off work for a week each time,... the 2nd time he landed on a car too and had to pay €800 to fix it!

Ive not had a fall off a ladder but have slipped backwards off a sloping slate porch roof.
I dropped about 8ft, landed on my heels and ended couldnt walk on them for about 3-4 months. Very Painful.

I fell off a ladder when i was 18, i reached over that little bit too far when i was cleaning a bay window and the ladder slipped ( my own fault, ladder was on soft ground and didnt "tamp" the ladder into the ground properly) ...

My Stepdad was working with me and the ambulance guy said if he hadnt called them as quick as he did ( or i was working on my own) then i wouldnt be here to tell the tale!

Fractured my skull and was off work for a while...

aaahhhh them were the days!!!

Working on a window above a garage, and the owner decided to go out in the car.

She opened the electric garage door (up and over type)

The door was bending as it tried to push the bottom of the ladder away.

I was coming down as quickly as possible, and the bottom of the ladder was skitting backwards - but I managed to climb down and off quickly and grab the ladder.

The woman in the car looked very shocked! (I probably did too!  :o  ;D )

I was suprised the how much the door was bending, and I'm not heavy!

had two slips where the ladder has moved about a foot, the best one was the ladder went totally from under me when i was cleaning a 1st floor window, i fell about 10ft and just landed on my feet waiting for the pain to come, it never and i just stood up straight got my ladders back into position and carried on. My two biggest worries are wet decking and wet block paved driveways

Where's the option for "all of the above have happened to me"?  ;D

Or the option for Squeaky - "I'm so brilliant, I never make mistakes"....  ::)
It's a game of three halves!

Custard = customer/custy.

I find it easier to type custard.

Of course! Try it sometime.

"Customer" "Custard"
