New Hercules
« on: May 22, 2005, 07:46:43 pm »
Hi Guys,

I have received some info on the new Hercules range of truckmounts.

They seem to be the Chem Tex Panther with Briggs and Stratton engines.

How do these machines compare to say, Hydramaster and Prochem?

4 models
Hercules15, £5999
Hercules18  £6999
Hercules20  £7999
Hercules25  £8999

Cheers,

Doug

Hi Steve, I've been doing some digging and I believe that the Woodbridge machines are Hurcules machines but with in a different body, when I spoke to Woodbridge a while a go they said that they were changing the machine to make it smaller and less heavy so that it would fit in smaller vans and changing some of the components.

Hi Guys,

I was told the same thing but these machines are the Chem Tex Panthers with an identical spec except the engines which are Briggs and Stratton.

I believe Woodbridge are sourcing some parts locally.

Reading the American boards Chem Tex have a v.bad reputation for service but Woodbridge are good in this respect so it might be a good combination.

If you go on the Chem Tex website you can get the spec.

Price appears to include a 280l recovery tank and a 500 litre fresh water tank.

Cheers,

Doug

Steve,
Do you really mean Woodbridge in Harlow no longer do truckmounts!

WOW.  That must mean that I am the proud owner of a TM that is increasing in value due to it's scarcity.  Anybody want to make me an offer!! ;D ;D

Seriously though, I haven't rung them up to find out but if this is true there will be a few chaps out here feeling so glad they bought a Herules!

Cheers

who is this guy from carpetmonsters,  woodbridge do truckmounts still and we are selling quite a few actually, yes i work for them and yes the company did rent out 2 units but we still have a large unit with all the parts you will need for all your cleaning machines.
it seems strange to see ppl that obviously havent looked into things before posting them in here,  why say a company is gone if you dont know, then say you've spoken to john and its gone, were still here so someones telling porkies me thinks.
maybe hes a agent for another t/mount company, you never know on here.

Daniel,

It is possible that some people post misleading items but the vast majority of CC's on here are genuine.

As it's taken you 6 months to post this I can only assume it's not a big issue ;)

Seriously though ,  quality input from manufacturers is appreciated although blatant advertising and self promotion will be deleted.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Cheers

Hi steve do you know about the new panther truckmounts at woodbridge then as they look very impressive  ?They had loads of problems with the old Hercules which they would gladly admit ,but the new panthers are a completly different  animial and there service is second to none in my opinion.
                                              cheers mark
