I know an Anmore House,in Soake Rd which is off Anmore Rd so i'll give them a knock and the postcode you gave me for Geranium House is 100 yds away,so i'll knock that too. You better tell me your name Rolo as when i visit i can be accurate with details etc. Its a tiny little village and quite upmarket and one of those places where everyone knows each other so it shouldn't be a problem sourcing the tool.

Your always better off canvassing yourself.

Think about it. Why don't you pay yourself the £3000 to do it, give yourself £500 a week working 8 hours a day for 6 weeks and you will without doubt build yourself a good priced round up to your own standard and beyond!

Its crazy to pay someone to get you work, if you cant face doing it your self when your starting out then you should really look into a different career choice. Window cleaning is all about self motivation, without it you'll never amount to much.

good info although after you get full and still want to bring in better and drop the chaff and can see the advantage of a canvasser as you dont want too be busy 24/7 need a life too

but when starting out i think dropping leaflets / knocking doors as much as you can yourself is the best way or use family and close friends but strangers it seems whether companies etc seem to just rip people off

Rolo mate search through my posts and look at any that are in threads about cleaner marketing or there old name window cleaning rounds or WCR LTD. Somewhere in there IIRC is the true contact address for the for these guys. Also they advertise on ebay so you could  contact Ebay and warn them of their practices - that could throw a spanner in the works for them as it is one of their main advertising methods.

I must say I did have a bit of an experience with them. They advertised a commercial round for sale in my area so I contacted them about it. Now at the time there was a few people on here that had posted about problems with them and they had responded on CIU blaming all this on one person who had left the company (otherwise I would of never contacted them). Therefore I was most surprised when I was emailed  by the exact person who no longer worked for them. The best bit was that it transpired that the round didn't actually exist - it was an advertising ploy!

ive heard alot about this company ripping people off,ever thought of going to watchdog and report him/the company for misleading you?Canvess companys are a good thing for us,but you should never hand any money over till the work is complete or you have been round every single customer and confirmed all the details with them
