My reel is 30" wide, thats vac and solution. Side door is about 40 inches , machine would end up over rear axle.
Would be nice to have access to everything from side door.

Have to get a bigger van  >:(

Take the solution reel off and you are left with the vac hose reel, the vac hose is the one you strugglw with so have that at the side door, the size of the hose reel and holder is approx 18-20 " so put the TM just behing the wheel arch so you need to measure approx 20" from your bulkhead then your Tm.

Now then Dave, how easy would it be to make a submount tank for my 427? I noticed that the Alltec ones are a glorified tank with a welded chassis over it? when I spoke to you at the CCDO in April you said that you had a guy who you knew that could help.

Ok had a talk with the steel fabrication guy today he tells me that the frames will carry the weight of the truckmount with no problem BUT what he did say was the weakest point with any installation in a panel van was infact the van floor. He would advise a length of angle running underneath the van below both mounting areas if possible and better still welded to the chassi and then bolt through sanwiching the floor.

Thank for all the constructive positive AND negative  ;D ;D ;D comments CHEERS GUYS Tony
