I just say "I'm probably gonna have to charge a £ more next time...is that OK?"
Never had anybody complain.
And if there was a moan I'd say:" Fine, leave the price as is and tell me which couple of windows you don't want cleaning".
Not being funny but supermarkets, petrol stations etc don't ask permission to up prices...they just do it!
