The things we get asked to do !
« on: September 10, 2009, 08:49:25 pm »
Can you just clean the conservatory roof while you are here !

Why dont you clean my facia and guttering when you clean the conservatory windows.?

Can you take my curtains down while you are here ???

Do you have a lawn mower?

will you clean all my plastics with a solvent cleaner before you clean the windows?

A strange old world  ;D

No, I have other customers that want their windows cleaned too - try phoning me before hand so i can book you in.

Because you haven;t asked me to. So that will be £ (insert figure) extra per month..

So you expect that to be done for free?, sorry, im running a business not a charity!

Do I look like I'm into soft furnishings? (I think my carbon pole black hands might put them off!!)

I was told to by a customer to clean her conservatory roof every 8 weeks while I was doing her windows.

For £1 extra a time - not sure if she has found another window cleaner yet
Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go

For free?     I had a customer complain that I hadn't got the bird crap off the conservatory roof to which I said I didn't clean the conservatory roof but I would if she wanted, its £20 extra.

She cancelled on the spot. I wonder if she ever did find a window cleaner to clean her roof for free

"Please put the rubbish out?" one time.

"Wash the car"

"Do it for free"

got asked yesterday.

I need a window cleaner.

Ok i'l be over in a mo

Do you clean gutters as mine have grass growing out of.

me: sorry i don't use ladders much now as i'm wfp it's really a 2 man job someone on bottom of ladder for safety ( always say this not intrested in gutter cleaning)

Oh ok don't bother then, do you know anyone

yes look in the yellow pages under guttering, probably charge you £50-£75.

She pulls a face and walks off.

I hate these people they think were monkeys that work for peanuts :(
