Well it also seems to be the centre of the universe for getting letters printed.

The new Radio Times has TWO letters on its first page from watchers in Stockport.

Not only that, but for anybody who buys the Daily Mail you will see letters from Stockport published on a weekly basis in that tabloid.

Perhaps people in Stockport are the only people that can read and write.
