Went out last night canvassing after a family friend mentioned an estate in st helens that had a rubbish wc. Went canvassing for an hour and half and picked up 16 customers. Nearly every house i went to said yes or do them for me next time. I went back today and cleaned them and two customers for some reason are know all over this estate had reccommended us to their friends so then we had 25 customers to clean. Give the two women free cleans for each customer they got and got on with the work. One custy said they owned a shop round the corner and could i give her a quote. After i finished i went round give her a price and got the job. I then went into the next 4 shops and got the on weekly cycles. Great so far .....
3pm driving past the high school round the corner from me a stupid fat schoolgirl ran out in front of the van. I slammed on and swerved but she went bang into the side of the van. My mirror had folded in on the van but that was all the damage was. She got up and ran off into a car that was waiting on the other side of the road. I pulled over and checked the van and was about to go and speak to the mum when she drove away. I drove home and have just reported the incident to the police in case someone comes forward but i had about 30 mums and dads who witnessed what happened as well has about 20 or so kids. Wasnt that shook up just ped off she had been so stupid - Calming down now and just looking forward to tomorrow so i can carry on canvassing

i wish - was abit worrying though because i was braking for a speed bump otherwise id have propably been accelerating so who knows i could have killed her - was her fault though

if you were accelerating you may have missed her completely as you would have past her before she got there

I went out at 7 started cleaning around 7:45. There was me and brother in law so for the first cleans with frames we didnt do that bad

great results on the canvassing but must have been 1 hell of a shock hitting the girl. At least she was ok. you did the right thing going to the police.
