crime scene cleaning
« on: September 09, 2009, 12:12:23 pm »
hello all,

I have a friend who works in the police force and i've been asked to do the above cleaning a few times over the last few years but i've never felt it was the right time to do so until now! i'm on the look out for a course to go on if anyone knows of one? i was also wondering if anyone has got any risk assessment templates i could have a look at to see whats required? i don't want to copy anyones as i know each job has it's own risks but i would appreciate it if anyone could help!!!!

Thanks for reading

I trained with the nacsc but there are others - theres more to it than the cleaning, bbp's, insect control, ppe,  the jabs, disposal, waste carriers licence.
You'll need a sprayer, fogger and a list of the right chemicals. The risk assessments are no different to any others except the outcome ! they go over it all on the course but I think you will need to be trained to be creditable
