Connect suction part of trolley to tank and connect where you plug your pole into the tolley to the hose reel by a hose lock connection,

Ive don this and leave my trolley fastenend  to the tank so if needs be I can disconnect it all and use the trolley for certain windows,

Sounds like he can have the best of both worlds.

I went trolley to van and used the trolley pump and battery to start.
It's a game of three halves!

Don't see the point of stripping a trolley and then buying a backpack. Do as deantaberner says. That is the best advice brett will get on here.
