think im investing in a new honda 13 hp machine with interpump and am wondering whether to get it done so it runs off liquid petroleum gas (lpg) as the fumes when near machine with petrol are choking me and are a cancerous in the future. any advice would be great. has anyone done this succesfully and can you recommend a dealer to do it?

I have got an lpg kit for a 18 hp kohler that I was going to fit to my old jetter but I upgraded before I did it. There is a sandwich plate that fits between the carb and airfilter, a large regulator / heat exchanger and a solenoid, then of course the regulator on the bottle. Nothing thats too trying so you could easily do it yourself and the fumes are still there but not quite as noxious as the petrol. On a 13 hp the running costs will be considerably less than petrol. Why do you suffer so badly with the fumes? do you cuddle the machine ? :

A marine engine supplier should be able to help. They need to run exhausts away from the source.
