done a course last year threw alltec with paul pearce, v. informative and worth while. Also worth looking at a few books on the subject for a little back ground knowledge before hand.

Rugs are a funny thing.  You think their difficult to clean until you take a course and then wonder why you worried so much about them.

It could take years to learn about origions and history but the bottom line is fibre content, construction and dye stability.  You should know about these from your carpet course, if youve had one which you should.

The secret is to test, vacuum and vacuum, clean with a hand tool and wool safe products and acid rinse and turbo dry quickly.

It thats simple unless you want to emerse them.  Franklins of Sheffield would be a good place to learn.

Steve.
It depends what you want to do with your knowledge, if its an add-on to your skills it can be a usefull earner, if you want something more challenging than general cleaning then it can be a fastenating learning curve, which way do you want to jump?
