i have allways used a trolley / cart
then after my hernia ( start of the year ) i decided humping around 25 L barrels wasnt that good , so i fitted a 400 L tank in the van
the idea was to sub pump the water from my rain water butt into the van tank and then use a cheap 14 L per min 12V caravan sub pump to fill the barrels from the van, less that 2 mins per fill ( as far as i was concearned it was the same time spent as reeling in and moving the van )
then after a while a few said i was crazy and to get some hose and use it as a van mount, so i did
i tried and tried to use the hose as a van mount, its ok on bigger jobs where you are parked up for a few hours

it works great
BUT
for domestic house after house after house, it just doesnt work, the hose gets caught on everything

it really does, on plants, on wheelie bins, on pots, on just about everything, its just not worth the hastle
so i still use a trolley a very high % of the time
