Is it best to deliver leaflets to a larger area regularly but a longer interval between deliveries. Or is it best to concentrate on a smaller area and deliver regularly with a shorter time between each delivery? My thinking is this smaller area will remember u more easily.

no cover as large area as u can on a 4 weekly cycle. however change your usp.as it no longer becomes valid time and tim again. it is a numbers game not an art

you need to put out 4-5k a week rotated monthly, so if you live in a large populated area this could be within 4 miles of your home,  if you live i the county then this could be 15miles.

people prefer to use local tradesmen so to deliver as close to your home as possible makes sense, ( make sure you have your address on your leaflet) The bigger area you cover the more time you spend driving betreen jobs.
