« on: August 12, 2009, 09:04:03 pm »
Sometimes it is nice to 'give'.....

Today I cleaned for one of the 1st customers that said yes to me...today...nearly 3 years to the day...I cleaned his house for free....just to say thanks....

Ftp...I really think you should stop window cleaning and in fact any job dealing with people at all...you should write a blog...I look forward to your posts..

Cheers

Every now and then and depending how I feel...I'll clean something for free and not tell the person...just because I feel good doing it...

A bit like being a secret Santa....well nearly ;)

Sometime I can get so into making the money that other things take a back seat..so doing the odd thing for free sometimes puts a little bounce back into my step...

Cheers
Dave.

No joke, egg on a custy window, took about half a minute Dave, the thing is, from the angle it hit the window, it looks really like the next door neighbour threw it. The next door neighbour is one of my custies too!!!! And I get on well with both custies. Hope they start to get on with eachother soon, getting a bit boring lol ::)

Im not telling you, cos if I do it wont count  ;D

That bit is one of my favourites.
For years I found it hard to tell if I was doing something because I wanted to do it or because I wanted to impress others.  Simple answer.  Just don't tell anyone   ;D .  Now how come it took so long for me to work it out?

What have do done/cleaned for free lately?

Every year just before xmas I do a free carpet clean for the customer who started me off with window cleaning.
A small price to pay for someone who gives me such a good turnover in business ;)

Cleared away dead leaves, twigs & dirt from the flat roof over a bay window. If she asked me again though, going to have to charge her £35!  ;D

Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go
