Had a good one yesterday few weeks ago had a call from a retired couple wanting just a lounge, and hall carpet cleaned in a bungalow was in the area and they wanted me to quote in person so off i went. She was very nervous about having them cleaned and kept on about would they clean up well. It was a very tight pile navy blue poly carpet with little squares on it. On further inspection only thing i noticed were some rust spots under a chair where no pads had been put under from the previous cc ( tut tut ).
Well they booked me in and went and cleaned yesterday pre spray agitated with enviro dri and extracted at 400 psi with my powereflite and wonder wand . Cut lovely lines in the carpet and custy was amazed.
After i had completed and they added the bedrooms in as well she said the previous guy had said it was the carpet that was the problem not the way it was being cleaned. As she had been very dissapointed with the last clean. Cant see why it was a doddle on further in vestigation of how they cleaned previous they had come in pre sprayed agitated with a brush then sprayed with fresh water then extracted with a henry wet and dry . no wonder some people are put off havinf a prof f in
Got payed and had a tip of ten pounds and by the time i got home had 4 of her friends ring me up for quotes.
the couple are moving house about fifty miles away and really wanted me to go and clean there new house said it was bit far but they have agreed without my prompting to pay my fuel there and back and so agreed on thet she said i could go annd do iy on a day when i perhaps am not busy
