« on: August 06, 2009, 09:43:02 am »
Hi Fellas,

How do you know when its time to take more of a back seat or come off the tools if you will?

Whos done it? and how hard or easy was it?

If you enjoy the day to day cleaning side of the business, why leave it? See if one of the lads could be persuaded to take a "Promotion" to a day or 2 a week in the office?

That way should you ever get seriously sick or injured, you have ppl trained to look after every part of the business while you're recovering.

Never a right time ,but no good killing yourself either. You have either got to get someone you trust to do the admin or do half a day on the tools & half a day admin whichever you prefer. If you really want to grow the business you will have no option but to gradually come off the tools as the bigger you get the more quotes/admin/ H&S etc you will have to deal with.Up to you ,but what your doing at the moment is to much.

6 hours sleep a night is healthy mate,  don't be thinking that you need all this 8 hours a night nonsense.

if you wanna take a back seat then you have to be able to put trust in your main man and let him run things for you while you concentrate on taking the business to the next level.
