Jon - no rinse between. Colloids (m-power/nemesis) work best when kept a bit damp and allowed a decent dwell time. With this in mind, priority #1 is to get the pre-spray onto the entire piece ASAP. All it needs is applying and a very quick brush over.
I then set up everything ready for extraction, which allows a decent dwell, and then spray and agitate a certain amount at a time with the HD before extracting. Works a treat!
