Mildew on walls
«
on:

Hi,
We have just been given the inside of a church to clean, top to bottom, ceiling, walls, windows, pews and floor.
One of the things they have asked for is for us to remove and treat the mildew on a north facing wall above the alter.
Can anybody recommend a good quality product for first removing this and then treating it? The area concerned is approx 64m

Hi
just go to local suppliers or superstore and get dettox mould and mildew remover, fantastic gear, the mould just melts and you just wipe it away.
used this product quite a few times, wear a mask though, stinks.

BLEACH! Works wonders! Make sure you wear a mask when dealing with mildew.

Ian
Not an expert in this field, but due to the size you have mentioned I think you need to find out the cause first it may be bigger than just wiping down with what ever!

Hi
i have found polycell mould killer to be very good at killing the stuff it not only kills it but prevents regrowth too, but as fox has said bleach works wonders and is alot cheaper!
