cowboy pressure washers
« on: August 01, 2009, 10:06:39 am »
went to one of my window customers this week who had had their drive done. it is only big enough to fit a small car on and is made of slabs with blocks inbetween. anyway the guys that did it did not use the right sand or wait till it dried and the job looks rubbish. she asked mer how much i would charge and i said if i do it on the way back from another job i would do it for 40 because it is that small a job and would take me at most an hour including setting up etc. she told me the other guys were there all day.
so god knows what they charged her and it would have been quicker with an electric toothbrush and there was 3 of them.
she is having me in a couple of months to do the job properly and told the husband "told you we should have used the window cleaner."
