Sounds to good to be true - 0800 divert package
« on: July 31, 2009, 12:01:53 am »
Had a call today from Global Communication Solutions LTD trying to sell the following package:

I keep my existing 0800 number and when I put the phone on divert to my mobile I get 17 hours worth of free diverted minutes per month for a one off lifetime fee of £175.00 with No other charges provided I don't go over the 17 hours per month.

Just been looking at there website, full of flash advertisements for everything from removal companies to indian restaurants.

Has anyone dealt with them before ?

website is gcsgroupltd.com

I came across em and suspected they were maybe going bust and just gathering cash it was £250 then and I  thought it was too good to be true.

Found a different company with brill service tho not many 0800s left now.  I pay £5.99 a month which i think includes a half hour free and then 16p/min all in diverted to orange. Havent had a bill bigger than 5.99.  This is the company I use:

If something sounds too good to be true then it usually is

Hi Paul,
Ive been with Global since last dec, it cost me £150 then. No problems at all, I changed my mobile and it was easy to change the route of the 0800 number.
Saved a lot of money.

Can't remember the original trading name when I started, it's now Cable and Wireless at £4 per month.
