Hope fully that will be the problem and you haven't cooked some other component too.I used to do this practise all the time working in a night club on the lights.
Grr like a idiot today thought id be consructive in rain and was tidying van and moving stuff and put a new connector to the battery, like a div put the connectors wrong way round quickly without checking and i think ive fryed the varistream took it apart and theres a capacitor cracked, do you think it can be repaired...what waste of money if it cant, i know its my on stupid fault.
