Agreed, Joe showed me how not to waste money on useless advertising, must have saved thousands on that point alone.

Yea I agree, Ive met Joe. He first strikes you as a brash Yank, until you realise its just his amazing enthusiasm, and hes so positive. Many times Ive heard it said that a lot of the stuff he does has been done for years, its nothing new. But do the people who say these things realise just how long Joes, Piranah marketing has been around. I paid a lot of money for the Fast Track programme and I dont use it properly, thats down to me, but for Joe, the man - respect.

Well done david
it taks a big man to say that.

You are right you have the infomation and its your choice if you use or not. the great thing is that you can pick it up at anytime.

Fear stops us all getting what we can.

just look at a scratch golfer plays with his mates every week no probs, then he decides to go pro. he game goes to pot, why? fear, pressure, tiger woods does not fear anything, confindance. how do you get it. make some mistakes, learn from them, move on, next time you will do better and you will gain confindance, and with this your goals.

Email, and we can have a chat

I remember when Joe had a great website, with loads of interesting articles to read, now its a bit boring ;)

as Dave said, everything he has done I've seen before ( apart from the consumer  message) but he does make it easy by tailoring it to carpet cleaning.

I can never understand why Howard partridge has not made a step into the UK, His stratagies for success( I think thats what its called)  has much more  to offer the real bussinessman in carpet cleaning.

Joes a jack-the -lad,  where Howards the thinking mans  mentor ;)

Ian,
just checking out your website (getting ideas for my own ;D), noticed a small spelling mistake "This equipment is powered by a small car engine, so it pulls more dirt out and leaves the carpet dry in juts 2 hours".
just thought id let you know, no dig intended

Hi Mike

Joe's moved on, to bigger things he does not need to give so much away now, did you know that he has info products in at least three other service groups. plus he does work for some big companies in the USA.

I think you said somthing without relising it, joe is about action. some mentors are about thory and no pratice, no disrespect to you or Mr Partridge.

As i said you love him or hate him.

What Joe is whats called a gate keeper, he spends loads and I mean loads of cash on educating himself and then sells that info to pepole like me, as i dont have $100,000 to spend each year on education i'll just pay Joe when i need.

what you also have to remember is that the UK is small fry. Did you know robert has to pay joes travel and fee when he comes over. i think this is wrong because all speakers in the USA make most of their income from selling from the stage when they attend meetings.

Ian

Have you bought into Joes marketing programme or have you learnt/copied from others on the web?

As far as I know Joe tells people to charge correctly.  From some of your advertising I see on your site and van, I'm just wondering have you applied this principle to your own business?

Hi mark

I whent to the USA in 1999 when i was looking for marketing ideas for my maid service yo meet joe at one of his meetings. and spent the last five years studing direct responce marking, which is what joe teaches.

its funny when people think that direct responce is joe and reject it because they dont like joes peronality, because they are missing out on so much.

with regard the prices that you have seen on my van, i have sold that van, site needs updating, and second we tried free room no luck change the inrestable offer to the half price plus free room and it works great. i think people think if it free then it has a catch,

as we have just started carpet cleaning all we want to do is add names to our database. and then make our money on the back end of the sale. our goal is find 200 people and get them on maintenance plans that should give us £50k a year. then move forwards from there.

respect............Ian

Bought the joe polish package many years ago. Like many it still in the box and I have fliped through a few things. The £500.00 was a waste of money? No, cos the bits a did put into practice made the money back in no time, and year after year this is now more profit.
Its not for anyone, (and definetly not for anyone in Norfolk), but the more you use it the more you will make.

But I am a lazy marketer, I'll wait for the phone to ring rather than chase the jobs, which is why I think a lot of people become cc's, because of the lifestyle. Work when you want, for who you want and at the price to sort you. The idea of chasing work seems to go againist that grain, and hence I think that is why cc's either love of hate him.

Karl

Would you have used more if it had cost more money?

you are not lazy marketer, you market just to the leval to keep the life style you like. nothing wrong in that. who says that YOU have to make x ammount you decide that, that's what being selfemployed or in business is all about.

But i would pull you up on one thing. no disrespect intended. you are wroung when you say that is not for anyone in norfolk. let them make that judgement.

I am very glad that you are happy with your life style. and norfolk is a great place to live.

You right about getting out what you need, I achieved what I wanted, and was happy about that.

What I would not like to see is lots of Norfolk cc's buying the package and then getting all the work, leaving me behind. I was not making a reference to people in Norfolk not being suitable for the package. You assume that.

Karl ,

I am puzzled why people in Norfolk would not respond to Joe Polish

In my part of Norfolk a high propotion of the population come from Essex and other Home Counties.

Not leaving a lot of room for Norfolk people.
Also Karl you say you wold not like to see a lot of Norfolk Carpet Cleaners putting into action his stratergies so they must be good.

Ian have you just decided to put JP into action as you said you went to the Boot Camp yonks ago.
