without this forum, i wouldn't be where i am today...a fresh and enthusiastic window cleaner, i would still be sat in an office, creating money for someone else.

the folk on here are superb, and no matter how thick you are  ;D they always help you!

It's nice to hear some thanks.  We all need to ask stuff sometimes.  Although I was well established as a ladder climbing sole trader when I first got here, I had a lot of good help and advice from people during my switch to WFP in 05/06.  I won't talk numbers as that can be irritating but I must be doing something right because my turnover has nearly doubled in that time and there's room to do more as well.

Take your time on the first cleans and plenty of rinsing. Thats what got me through in the start.

Also keep an eye on your tds level... different people  will tell you that you can clean with sometimes up to 12..... i keep mine at 000 and change resin when it hits 0001

Technically im not a window cleaner as ive sold my round and am kind of a newbie myself but i just cant seem to leave this site alone. The guys are great and so are they issues and discussions. I had alot of help from family and good friends when i started out but i wish id have found this forum earlier. Im 20yrs old and have just sold my w/c rounds for quite alot of money but i believe that with this site my business could have been twice as big before i sold it.
Not complaining tho. I always enjoy the company of other businessmen which has led to my missus telling me i spend too much time on the pc and meeting associates in the pub.

I know im not a window cleaner but i enjoy the company and discussions so i want to say thank you as well for being on this great site and offering advice and oppinions to everyone including myself.

You never stop learning, believe me. You would think that window cleaning is about cleaning windows but in reality thats the easy bit.
Its about pricing, marketing, dealing with people, accounting, planning, etc

Correct it was more about the business for me and once growth slowed down i felt like there wasnt much progress to be made sothe way forward was WFP which because of my age was refused so i sold - I wasnt bored it just wasnt as challenging
