sounds like a rival has done that, why on earth would a bog standard thief take charley pads?

Sorry to hear that Spencer, I wouldn't want it to happen to me as I'm sure anyone else wouldn't so I hope everyone can keep an eye out for your stuff.

Its a long wheel base Mercedes Sprinter Goran, Scene of Crime people coming to fingerprint soon, it seems very strange, it almost seems as though it has been stolen to order, so make sure your insurance covers everything.

I am surprised how easily they got in, real pro job, I know some of the London c/c don't sign write
vans now.

I keep seeing the price of small wireless security cameras keeps dropping, the ones that link to 3G video phones. Put the scrotes on Youtube with a reward.

Sorry for your loss.
I put most of it back in garage every night no exceptions.
Only leave buckets and chemicals and anything not of any
value to the scrotes.
And I chain the machine up in the garage.
Can be a real pain especially in winter.

Sorry to hear of your troubles Spencer.

I am sure we will all keep our eyes and ears open.

Just because you on the south coast doesnt stop them being marketed in anyones locality.

Spencer
you mention in an earlier post that some London c/cers dont sign write their vans.
are you thinking of taking the signs off yours therefore not advertising the fact you are a trade?
I would think a signed van is a put off to taking the van away - easy to find if stolen and if a large van cannot be hidden in a household garage so has to be on view. Unsigned vans are two a penny and must be ripe for nicking irrespective whats in them.
I personally would always have the van signed because of the above.

Difficult one really, this is the first time I have suffered any theft, perhaps the thief is realising
the value of carpet cleaning equipment on the second hand market.

I'm a local rival to Spencer but never spoken to him, I wouldn't wish that on anyone not even a rival, obviously would hate it to happen to me so if I'm offered anything locally won't hesitate in letting you know.
