Not yet but I've been paying something most days recently.  I set up a bill payment from my bank account and pay some as and when I am able.  The last bit may be a few days late but hopefully I can sort it out before 31/7.

I pay mine at the last minute i think it is best to earn your self interest on your tax money for as long as you can even if it isn't very much. the interest i earn on my tax  money per month is roughly equal to half an hours work so better than nothing.

Agreed.  When my finances were better I did that too.  I find it harder to put the money aside these days as I'm repaying a lot of other stuff too.  That's why I pay it a bit at a time in advance.  Some days I BACS nothing.  Some days a tenner.  On better days when a few big cheques have cleared it may even be possible to BACS a couple of hundred.
