Hi I've been doing pressure washing for a few months now and I'm having terrible problems with vibration to the point where I'm having numb sensations in both hands.
I have a 13 hp with an interpump with I'm told delivers 16 litres of water a minute. It also has an unloader valve. I'm also using a turbo nozzle where the vibration comes from.
Being honest I haven't messed around with the pressure.
What pressure should the turbo heads be run at?

Does anyone have similar problems any advice please.

keith what make is it?  is it a cheap onre off ebay?  i had that prob years ago and it was loss of suction from the suction hose.  my hand was numb after 30 mins turboing.

Hi, sorry not responding earlier, it is a Loncin engine 13 hp with a Interpump. How did you cure your problem then?

Don't tell me got rid of it!
Any help would be very much appreciated and if the goods are faulty I need to know. No joke my hands are still bussing now and my last job was over a month ago.

you will end up with white finger if you carry on using it.  you could get anti vibration gloves  and get the machine tested at pirtek for pressure.

Just take regular breaks and you'll be fine.

It is worth trying another nozzle though, just to be sure your's isn't faulty. Turbo's obviously cause a fair bit of vibration but not necessarily to the extent that you seem to be experiencing.

If this is true then get yourself in with your Doc. This can't be down to using a Turbo for the short amount of time that you have which means there may be something else wrong.

Got to say this is a strange one. I use turbo nozzles on varying lance lengths, the longest one is a 7 metre one, standard day in day out use is on a 1.5metre one and a 2 metre one. Keeps the wet from under my feet and the longer the lance the more it floats on the pressure.

Is this more to do with the way you are gripping the handle ( too tightly?). Are you aggravating an existing trapped nerve problem. cannot really see how a turbo nozzled lance could be set up wrong.

Change the lance on the machine to rule out the machine being the cause. If the machine was causing the problem there would surely be obvious shaking of the machine - not the norm!!!!

If your getting excess vibration it can be a machine fault. Something like sucking air causing cavitation or shortage of water ie blocked filter or even a faulty valve. You should be able to stand on a hp hose whilst useing machine without it hurting the sole of your foot
