Was out yesterday evening doing fascias, conservatory roof and windows at a new customer I picked up from a leaflet I dropped at her daughters house. When I Got there I was told both her daughters want me to clean there windows too.. Bonus!

When I was out the front, the woman next door who had been curtain twitching the whole time came out on the phone and asked for a card. I got her one of my leaflets and she read off my services to the person she was on the phone too. Turns out her sister, niece and another 2 people want a window cleaner. Yep I go there. 20 mins later she came out on the phone and passed it too me saying can you arrange a quote for this lady. Gets on the phone and its a friend of hers who wants a window cleaner.

Didn't want to do the fascias job last night, but dam glad I did. Got 2 new customers aswell as the one I was cleaning and another 5 quotes which I'm sure ill get cos they have leaded windows and the local window cleaner won't do them.

Don't you just love it when it comes together!

ye to right. when you give quotes on recomendations you will probably get it, and 7 custys is a very nice bonus for something you did'nt really want to do.
 it always come out of the blue like that dose'nt it,  nice going, keep it up

I reckon its cos I was working late, hense this woman saw me. I finished the job at 7.30pm

Might be worth anyone starting up working around this time as more people will be home and thinking what they doing and have a look

yea i try and do that too, go and do a bit of work in an estate around tea time, making sure my signage is visable!!!

  leaded windows wfp works a treat on some on the rest   usealy older lead it would be nice

   to get a better methode save all the elbow grease

Even trad they can be faster than squeegeing, if you get your tecnnique right
