Brushing Belgium Wiltons
« on: July 03, 2009, 08:20:48 pm »
Has anyone experienced distinct grooves appearing in the pile of Belgium Wiltons when subjected to the brushing action of upright vacuums or contra-rotating brush machines ?  I 'm assuming I've observed cases of friction burning (but not my work).

Regards

In one word yes, I did it but managed to brush them out.

Shaun

Can you associate these with brush-bar action of some sort ?  The one's I've seen don't brush out.  Compared with the edges of the carpet they really are distinct.

Definately from the bars and brushes I would have thought if they are bad you could buff them out.
