see the hassle us scots ge twhen we go down south with scottish banklnotes it's a feckin joke TBH
so does it say north or south on them, i managed to of load mine to someone else and never checked it
Someone tried to pay me in Euros once, when they had just back from the airport, i wouldnt normally take it, but i was going to Eurodisney the following week so i nabbed it.
Scottish, N.Ireland or England, if it has the word "Sterling" on the banknote it is legal tender and valid anywhere in the UK. I don't like them either because of the doubtful looks you get in the corner shop; but trust me they're kosher.
Is the sterling we use in Wales the same as the sterling in Scotland I also have a job using our Welsh money in England. The £1 coins are ok its the £20 pound notes with Lloyd George on that causes problems.
