so-called wc'ers
« on: June 24, 2009, 05:25:40 pm »
A guy who used to work for me (left due to serious illness) lives across the road from our lasses grandad. the other day he went over and cleaned his front window cos some kids had thrown eggs at it. whilst he was talking to the old boy he found out that he had a window cleaner but he had told him he couldn't get the egg off, so he had left that window!!! :o :o :o :o

You know what? I've actually never cleaned off egg of a window! Must be a good neighborhood around here! Wonder if soaking it with wfp first, then do all the other windows would work. Otherwise scraper will do fine.

i call it maintenace, i maintain the windows(regular cleaning) now if it takes more than a maintenace clean ie first clean or after a builder i may charge more depending on custmomer and time taken......thats how

Hardened egg on glass will take forever to get off, it will give you the boak because of the vile stink when it softens, there is almost nothing worse than egg to clean of glass. Then when you have been daft enough to have done it, your equipment will be covered in the smelly awfull stuff. Charge more and explain youv not priced enough  to clean that stuff. You will regret it if you dont. >:(

I cleaned a hell of a lot of eggs off windows when the miners strike was on, I never charged extra but it stunk the high heavens, and had to change me scraper blade alot.

Aye there were no reach & wash in them days........... I think I'll have a Worther's Original and get meself away for an early night ;D

You big set of puffs!!

Never heard so much bollox over a foookin' egg!!

It's an egg, E-G-G. EGG! Clean it off or p off. That's the response you'd get from me if you tried to charge me more! ;)

this is the reaction you get when people do something different, if that was your attituide you would of been dumped ages ago.......simples

i clean windows if they have upset some one enough to get there windows egged then sort it them selves or pay extra(espeicially if its stuck up gob pooe customer)
