GWCS your gutter vac

can you give me the spec of yer vac system please. I know you have vac which was posed other week. What attachments do yuo have for ed of hose etc and did you diy the angle adjuster for positioning the top of the hose.

any pics?

I use this for my vac 3600w It may be possible to use less but you would need to seek advice from someone more qualified. Omnipole used to supply it last year for theirs.   http://www.pump.co.uk/shop/Generators/PetrolSilent/d24/sd77?code=LC5000DDC

I use a 3600w with 50mm hose and 50mm gutter poles. I wouldnt use any less of each. When we first started we tried but it would be quicker to use a ladder with all the problems.
The vac at eastern trading would be suitable.
What setup did you have in mind?

where ye ge tyer 50mm poles from ?

ideally i would like that vac with decent generator and poles to clear debris but i would most likely go with attaching hose onto one of my pole up the outside and diy the clamp from on her eto position hose over gutter.

I had them made. They are Modular, there is no lips for any debris to catch on and they are bomb proof and very rigid but as they are aluminium they are fine up to about 25ft but after that they are a bit on the heavy side. We have used them up to 35ft.

I had them made. The work was about £100 the bits were about £100 I think, it was a while ago now. Sorry I cant put any pics at the moment up as the poles are where I store the gear and im at home, but I will put some up when I can. If I was gona do it all again though and I knew about the sl2 base sections I think I would have used them. (but upside down so the lips not a problem)

Turned aluminium sleaves with slots cut one end to enable a jubelie clip to fasten. The sleave is then aluminium welded to the end of one section leaving an overlap of about 2.5" for the next section to slot in. The trickey bit is making the sleave as it is not available in standard sizes.
