flyer or business card
« on: June 15, 2009, 07:03:28 am »
Which is the better to give on the knock . A flyer with lots of information but likely to get trashed with all the other flyers or a business card that may get lost in a pocket
Also do you just put basic information on either and ask the custy to call for further information or as much information as possible?
modern day methods ......tradtional values

If I get a call to go and give a quote they get a brochure.

If I knock, and I only knock certain 'target' properties now, they get a brochure too.

Everyone gets a leaflet from me. I knock the door and ask if they need a window cleaner with a lealet in my hand. If they say no or they have one I politely ask if they could give my leaflet to someone who needs one. 99% of the time they say yes. My leaflet says all the services I do on. Its amazing how leaflets get about I have found. A lot of people do really pass them on to friends or leave them lying about the house where visitors can see them,
Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go

I drop a flyer and a business card to the potential customers property, followed by a door knock inside the following week.People are more likely to keep the biz cards, and the flyer has the special offer and services that we offer,I find this works well.
