I know someone that has a Merlin and his water pressure varies,if he`s getting 50psi it works well but if it`s only running at 30psi it struggles.£400 for a Merlin is ridiculous are you getting it from ireland with a bolted on pre filter which you don`t need, you can buy them for £220 from different sites on the net but i wouldn`t bother i would get a 40x40 if your in for the WFP long haul.

Who wants £400 for a pump that`s a joke,it might not last as long but i would use a shurflo 150psi pump with a transformer so you can plug it in the wall all told it will cost you about £150.

£400!!!  That is crazy.   :o

Here is one that will do the job for you very well http://www.andwat.co.uk/acatalog/PUMPS.html  It is £174 plus VAT and you can use it on a 40 inch system should you ever upgrade from the Merlin.
