Does any one know how to extend a harris pole 

I made the pole up today and i have to say im impressed with its rigidity and lightness

It would be ideal if you could extend it to say 24/ 25 foot

any ideas ??

Its all on Matts diy forum, a no1 section Unger telepole  fits into the top section of the harris and a no 4 or 5 section fits onto the base of the Harris.

but how do you get the black Plastic handle off the bottom of the harris pole

Put a screw driver through the hole, get someone to hold the pole and you twist the screwdriver.

take the plastic off the base and you can put 2 harris poles together for the odd job.

in a bucket of hot water (melts the glue), and as said put a long screwdriver through the hole, stand on it and twist whilst pulling.

my ioncs universal is on its way out, and at their price its not being replaced
