Builder cleans-pricing

I have been asked to price a builders clean but im not sure how to go about it-is there anyone who can give good advice?

Price it as if its a regular clean and mulitply it by 5 to allow for the god forsaken state these places are in when they want them cleaned and the extra work and time that entails.

If this is a proper firm (as opposed to a small builder) and you have not worked for them before I would suggest that you are being used in an exercise to reduce costs by using your quote to force down the rates of their existing cleaners.

If a small firm then you will need to understand their requirements. Most builders cleans are carried out in three stages, each of which should be quoted and charged for independantly.

Worst part is always the windows, but then it is all pretty bad  :)

Your best pricing individually then when they ask for you to do extra work i.e cleaning facias-soffits-gutters try and get what you can out of them

At the endof the day everyone wants to save money as most firms work under a budget so try and price as competitivly as possible

What exactly are you being asked to clean? No don't go for cheap, never best policy :)
