How to connect hose to dump valve?
«

Hi,
can anyone tell me the best way to connect a length of vac hose to the waste water dump valve on my portable. I do a few large commercial jobs when it would be handy to run a length of hose straight from the waste tank into a suitable (foul) drain.
The standard hose cuffs will not fit over the valve.
The standard hose is to small to slide over the valve and secure with a clip.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Chris

Normally the "spout" on the dump valve can be removed ,it may be tight if its never been took off, leaving a plastic tube which a 1.5 standard cuff will fit.

Chris,
If you follow Glynns sugestion and find that your portable is fitted with a dump valve of 1

" diameter, the solution is to buy a 2" cuff that fits on a 1
