INDUSTRIAL ROPE ACCESS
« on: May 29, 2009, 10:10:52 pm »
I have been looking into the prospect of getting training for this domain.

Wanted to know whether there is much call for this type of work? Be it from national operators or on a sub contract basis?

there is work for this out there, but you will only have a level 1 cert when you finish training and you will have to work along side a level 2 or above, you cannot work alone. to be honest, you will probably earn more money from straight forward w cleaning. you need 1000 hours experience before doing your level 2, so its a bit of drawn out process till you earn decent money. level 1 will earn roughly £100 a day. level 2 £120-140. level 3 £200.

So for example if i worked for 8 hrs work expo with a company every week of the year that would take me 2 years to get to level 2.

Level 3 would take another 2 years.

You need 12 months work expo is that full time 5 days, or just as long as its been throughout the year?

Then i need to find a company to get work expo from :(

Im not looking at this from a short term perspective, but more long term.
