I've had em all Transit then Bedford Midi (that was a massive mistake), Sherpa, Transit then a VW transporter. That was brill, allways started, long service intervals and rot proof. Ok I went and bought it retail but it gave me so much peace of mind, in the end she got to 230k and needed a clutch, shockers etc, so I took her up to the scrappy as a TM came up with a tranny wrapped around it.
I've gone for that but I would have a transporter anyday, best by far.
