What you do is, first let the initial blast come out for a couple of seconds, then direct jets in bucket, measure a minute exactly, then tip the bucket bit by bit in the measuring jug, add it up, and there you go. Liters per minute.

my thoughts is if I want to save water I use the tap to control it, get the job done, earn money move on next one simple.

My wife nagges me about water, she does not nag about money, guess they have to nag about some thing ::)

I changed over to a higher flow rate recently and have had two complaints, the first in years. the first was definitely vent related, it's OK chucking more water at the glass, but it really needs to be controlled.

I use 1 3/4-2 liters a minute and i find this to be perfect,i know how much i use because i have a digital flow meter so i know exactly how much i use,i use an old style vaistream and have it set on 10.30-11.00 o`clock on the dial 4 years and it`s never gone wrong.

I changed from 2mm jets to 1mm jets....Saves loads of water gives a better flow rate pressure wise.

Yeah and if your not careful they will blow the pole hoses off due to to much pressure with that size jet.
